The Boca Raton, which is a popular lavish resort, is set to host a three-day celebration called “Artisans of Wine & Food”, an event that will bring the flavors of Napa Valley to South Florida’s Atlantic Coast and an event that has been a banner event in Napa Valley for 40 years, according to CBS 12.
“It’s a fantastic event that started 40 years ago in the Napa Valley” Daniel Hostler, CEO and President of The Boca Raton said. “Robert Mondavi actually founded it, and it’s a three-day celebration of wine and food and famous chefs. And it all culminates in an auction to raise money for charity.”
The event kicks off on January 17th and runs through January 19th featuring 25 visiting chefs, including Mario Carbone from Major Food Group and Lauren Thorndale, the hosts of the Friday evening after-party. The event boasts 75 top vintners from Napa Valley who are known to produce some of the world’s finest and most popular wines.
“It’s an opportunity for the guests to mingle and really get to meet the vintners, not just taste wine and meet those chefs, which is really fun” Hostler added. “We partnered with the Boys and Girls Club and said that Saturday evening Gala dinner has 12 phenomenal auction lots that are sort of travel and wine packages that you can bid on. And a hundred percent of the proceeds goes to the Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County and of Napa Valley County.”
Sunday closes out the event in grand style with a Jazz brunch for attendees to enjoy.
